Carve 101 is out now with Free Revolution dvd!
Yes, you've seen the articles in Carve and now you get to watch the full adventure from Ireland to WA!

This journey began back in December 07, when the lads found themselves facing some of the heaviest waves yet ridden in Northern Europe. Lowey and the Ferg rose up to the challenge that week against the odds, and they haven’t looked back since.
This film documents their continued momentum, pushing into fresh territory for British and Irish Surfing around the world. Look out for it’s release on the cover of Carve magazine sometime late this Summer.
See below for weekly updates from the boys as their adventures unfold.
August '08
Well friends it's been a long time since our last update. We've been lost in translation for the last six weeks up in the Desert again, shooting the final chapter of our first Revolution film. Eventually we pulled the pin due to collective Desert madness and hit the road back
to Perth. Our idea was that if a Tahiti chart looked like coming up in the very near future we'd head over, but if it didn't we'd head home and close chapter one.
So it was that we found ourselves scooped from the dunes we'd been inhabiting and unexpectedly dropped into a heavy Irish lineup at Aileens a week later. She certainly kick started Autumn with a bang, have a look at the link below to see some of what went down and stay
glued to Septembers issue of Carve for the full story.

Carve 101 will also feature the fully covermounted film of our collective journey through the last year. We've been editing full time since our return and the first finished Revolution project is looking pretty damn different to say the least!
Stay tuned here for details on premieres and dates, as well as fresh podcasts from the project while the count down to Revolutions release ticks by.
Other than that we're all looking forward to kickin back and enjoying surfstock this weekend now, where one of the Manchester bands who've contributed to the Revolution soundtrack – Gilded Lily, is playing the
main stage on Friday afternoon.
So til next time, take it easy and hopefully the end of Summer treats us to more mad early Autumn mega swells.
All the best!

Week Five
Well we ended up grinding out the 20 hour drive back up to the desert in record time to score some more waves up north and escape some persistent Irish style weather down in Margs. It's actually been a heavy few days, as Lowey went down on a psychotic bomb first session and tweaked his arm pretty hard. He's ok and doin great but could be out the water for a good week. The big mans been resting and is already powering up as positive as ever to get back amongst it asap though which is pretty inspiring to see.
Ferg also met up with fellow Analog rider Koby Abberton and some of his mates up here for the swell and we had a couplea sessions with them at Monuments which was an interesting experience, they looked like super scary geezers but were all friendly and polite enough chaps which was both a surprise and a relief all things considered.
Aside from that though some epic news for the revolution camp came today in the form of the soundtrack for the film being signed off and locked down. A collective of six friends and musicians who make up members of various top Manchester bands have kindly come together to collaborate on firing up the film even further with some revolutionary creations.
The almighty HAVEN have served up some incredible beats from their eagerly awaited new album, due for release the end of this Summer (see www.haveninfo.com, www.myspace.com/havenuk) , one of which, 'All I ever Knew', you've already heard charging up the promo podcast for the film.
THE MUTINEERS have thrown down an epic sounding single from their forthcoming EP. Click here.
GILDED LILY have tracked the musical and travel sections with some wicked dark spacey instrumentals (www.myspace.com/gildedlilyuk)
Last but by no means least, the mysterious RED SAILS have contributed a stunning piece from their exclusive demos. Click here.
All in all this film looks set to now blow minds sonically as well as visually thanks to these guys, so check them out and show some love. Wooha!
Other than that we're just camped out here in the middle of nowhere keeping it simple and waiting on a swell for Tahiti. Fingers crossed the South Pacific comes good for us soon!
Anyways, til next time over n out!
The lads...
Week Four
"All quiet on the western front" has been the order of the last week after our return to Margs. We bolted down the coast again with Ozzie mentalist Paul Morgan hoping for more mad slabs, but it was big windy and weird down there so we ended up returning to Margs without much to report apart from some rad rides from Morgo. Since then we've been on lock down due to crazy weather fronts, and cabin fever has begun to well and truly kick in. Ferg and Lowey have been getting their leotards out for marathon training sessions while the rest of us have been catching up on everything that aint been done over the last few weeks. Real life eh, who'd have it! All's good at the end of the day though, we're just hoping for more goodtimes to come soon. Right on!

Week Three
With the arrival of a huge storm we headed 20 hours North into the desert for some grinding lefts and slabbing rights. Two back to back swells, numerous mindwarping sunrises and sunsets, one crazy rain storm and three epic sessions left us all blessed out and buzzing on some time out from ‘civilisation’ in the middle of nowhere. All of us except Tom DH that is, who ended up caning himself real bad at a heavy right named monuments. He cant move his right arm now and has some deep looking tiger claws across his back. Hopefully its nothing to severe but we’ll have to get it sussed out properly when we get back down South. The film is really starting to take shape now, we can all start to visualise it as the days unfold and are amped to get editing already. Just another loooong drive back is the only bummer. I’ve done 14 hours today already, so I’m going to sign out now til the next update. All the best!

Week Two
The weather finally cleared and we lucked straight into some unbelievably epic waves this week. Some heaving 6ft hollow lefts draining at a bank down the coast were our first taste of Indian ocean juice this year and it sorted the stoke levels right out to say the least. Then we had three heavy sessions at the Box. The first day was big and manic, just about handling with some spooky wash through’s spicing things up. Lowey was going mental as usual, broke a board and went over the falls trying to get into a solid 10fter. Wandering Irish transplant Tom Doidge Harrison was out there and snapped a lovely homemade board on a dry one, gutted. Ferg, as calculated as ever, scooped into the wave of the day after nailing a rad vert drop. It was a healthy introduction! The next day was 6-8ft but a lot more time between sets and some flawless thick ones to be had for the bold. Lowey and Ferg both nailed some proper deep backdoor style bombers and thus we had our first rad shots and footage locked and loaded under the belt. Goodtimes! The evening session was awesome, with a trippy sunset and some hecticly shallow bombs to be had. Tom DH rode the wave of the session which stoked him out over the loss of his other board.
Once we got out of the water in the dark I checked my phone and found about ten missed calls from 2x world champion bodyboarder Damian King. Kingy soon convinced us to drive 8hrs south through the night with the calls of potential 12-15ft barrels in the morning. After a long drive and a 45 minute hike in we arrived to see some of the thickest craziest looking bombs any of us had seen. The session went amazingly well - noone got hurt, Bra Boys Mark Mathews and Richie Vas were dominating, Kingy got some mental deep ones, and Lowey and Ferg nailed a massive bomb each. (See the latest issue of Carve for details) All in all we felt real lucky and grateful for the opportunity, and glad we put in the effort to score some of the heaviest waves of the boys lives so far. What they achieved out there has definitely raised the bar pretty high for Britains tow dudes to try and keep up with in the future, that’s for sure! It’ll be interesting to see how the rest of the trip unfolds now foundations have already been set so high!

Week One
After a hectic mission pretty much straight out of the water at Aileens, 20 zombifying hours later we landed in Perth to meet Lowey who’d been in Indo for the last month. We stayed with Loweys main man Neil and his family, who looked after us big time and helped us find a trusty wagon – a 4wd named Rusty. Once we’d sorted out our gear (the boys needed a few more spare boards to beef up the quiver) we headed down to Margs to set up base camp at the resort I used to work in scrubbing the bogs a few years ago. The owner cut us a deal and all was good, now we just have to wait out a couplea storms for waves, fingers crossed it’ll come good soon.
