Bude Surf Classic goes again.
The highly successful Bude Surf Classic, organised by Surf Spot Bude and run by Christian Surfers UK, has attracted new sponsorship for 2008 in Gecko, Surf Relief, North Shore Backpackers and Raven surf School
The event will be held on the weekend of 10th – 11th May 2008 at Widemouth Bay, North Cornwall.

Due to the popularity of the event, entries have had to be limited and places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Entry forms are available from local surf shops or can be down loaded from the Bude Surf Spot Website (www.budesurfclassic.co.uk)
To ensure a great weekend of entertainment if the Surf does not co-operate there will be beach games and paddle races.
The winner of the Men’s Open Division will receive £200 cash, the winner of the Longboard Division will receive £100 cash and all Categories will receive trophies and great prizes.
Entry fees range from £10-15 (depending on Category) and include a free contest t-shirt.
The event will be held at North Beach, Widemouth, and all registration for all pre-entered contestants will be at 8.30am sharp, with heats getting underway around 9.15am.
As well as the Surf contest the event will also be supporting the work of the Tsunami Surf Relief UK, by holding a raffle throughout the day.
Surf lessons to suit all ages and abilities will also be available during the time of the contest.
Christian Surfers UK provides the manpower for the event continuing the successful partnership with Bude Surf Spot.
Christian Surfers UK is involved with four major surf contests – the next being the Jesus Surf Classic, Croyde Bay, September 13th –14th 2008.
