Got to think outside the box these days which is exactly what Marlon Lipke and co are doing. Hitting up Sardinia for a lil weekender surf trip. Budget flights will get you anywhere in Europe these days for the price of a night on the beers so there really is no excuse! -
Stu Kennedy O’Neill Coldwater Classic Victor…

The Tasmania leg of the O’Neill Coldwater Classic series has wrapped up in pumping surf with unknown (on these shores at least) Lennox Head kid Stu Kennedy taking the cash and points, not to mention a lead in the CWC series- overall winner of the 5 event mini-series pockets an extra 50 large. He’ll now be using his winnings to buy a ticket to Thurso which kicks off in a fortnight… -
O’Neill Coldwater Classic- Tasmania…

The O’Neill Coldwater Classic down in Tasmania is getting to the sharp end, only 24 guys left in contention now with Jordy Smith, Davo, Sunny, Shaun Cansdell and Royden Bryson being the top dogs in a nicely mixed bag of international flavours still left in. The conditions are swinging from glorious to apocalyptic, heres a vid from Day 3 which was epic, and a few other killer little clips… -

You may have heard the season started early in Tahiti this year and with what might be called a bit of a “bang”, like the best swell in three years kinda bang.
